Hugh creates and sells all his personally designed and hand-built furniture at Child’s Store, his shop in Childs, Maryland. Some of Zane’s artwork is often for sale there also. In recent years, the store has become a gathering place for musicians and a location for jam sessions, often on Sunday afternoons. Keeping with the tradition of the old country stores, people come to hang out, sit in front of the wood stove, share stories, and listen to music. We’re glad that this tradition continues in our family.
